Meritage Homes SUCK and Are Built Like Shit, That's My Opinion and I'm Sticking To It!!

My husband and I recently purchased a new home that we had built starting in January of this year. It was very quickly constructed (unfortunately) and was finished in April. See, that's the problem with these builders they just slap these houses up in a matter of 3-5 months or so and stick a ridiculous price tag on them so suckers, such as myself will buy them.

I am paying close to half a million dollars for my home and at the end of my 30 year note plus interest I will have paid $750,000.00!! For what? A house that is falling apart, has shitty workmanship and just put together cheaply! Sure the model home looked FAB what with all the beautiful decor and hiring expensive interior designers and all who wouldn't want this home? Then they "make" you your own. It seems Meritage likes to hire cheap ass contractors doing shitty work I actually had painters in my home that brought their 9 year old son with them to "help" when I tried to ask what the fuck??? They couldn't speak a lick of English to answer my question. I'm not even sure half of them knew how to paint especially since none of the tops of any of my door frames even saw a paint brush!

The first night we spent in our new home the air conditioner didn't work upstairs ....at all. Come to find out it was wired completely wrong? Really??? This is what $450,000.00 gets you? Morons wiring your air conditioner all fucked up? The next night the toilet paper holder completely ripped off the wall just by normal "hey let me pull the toilet paper off of here to wipe my ass use" sweeeeet!  The ceiling vent in the master bedroom completely fell out of the ceiling the first night as well! Good thing one of my rugrats wasn't standing beneath it when it decided to take a shit.  Amidst this bullshit there are cracks in my baseboards, gaps bigger that Madonna's front teeth on my back door, my toilet is leaking, the carpet is coming up, the baseboards don't go all the way down to the floor (I can literally place my fingers underneath them to the next room, chunks of plaster keep falling off the wall exposing screws, the ceiling beams completely show/bulging through the ceilings (this looks adorable), one of my baseboards bow "inward", the wall in the 4th bathroom is crooked, the walls are not flat at all you can see lumps throughout in our theater room and my husband's mancave! Our projection screen won't even lay flat against the wall! There's lumps in our floors upstairs, there is absolutely nothing between the upstairs floor and the downstairs ceiling it sounds like my kids will fall through at any moment. My backdoor off my kitchen is so cheap I can bend the bottom corner just by pushing on it with one finger (hello burglars come on in let your 2 year old kick it in because it WILL give). Luckily I have an alarm system. The wall beneath my masterbath window is cracked and separated. So much shit to mention my head is spinning.

Now, I know some of you are saying what the hell Dani call warranty, well we did early on in June and they did come and repair the things we found wrong (then) the aforementioned items have come on since then. But you only get one shot for warranty to come out in the year "coverage" so now I'm making a list, albeit a long list that's annoying the shit out of me. Okay, so now you guys are saying whey the hell didn't you email someone and bitch. Your answer? I did, several times and you know what??? I got no response! Go figure, doesn't surprise me. As of my latest bitch to a Mr. Brent Anderson (see my exact email below) which was dated Sept. 9th I have yet to hear from him either. I would love to just straight up contact Mr. Steven J. Hilton, the supreme asshole and head dick of Meritage myself and tell him what shit he sells and how his millionaire ass can sleep at night knowing that he puts out shit, but low and behold there is no contact info for him at all. I guess he has all of his little "Hilton Nazi's " do his dirty work for him. Except, well, in this case, they can't even seem to get that shit right. It seems Meritage hires cowards who don't have the balls to answer back their pissed off customers or the smarts to say anything in return! Oh and just in case you were all wondering if I am the only one that thinks Meritage Homes is a big piece of smokin' hot dog shit on my shoe you'd be wrong! Several people in my subdivision have oodles of problems as well and have done their share of emails too without any response. My neighbors roof started to leak just a few months after they had their house built! Sweeeeet!  I warned that I would pretty much go on blast about Meritage if I didn't receive an acknowledgment regarding my disgust, we see how that panned out! Anyhoo, here's the latest email I sent to a lovely Meritage Home employee:

Hello, my name is ______ my husband and I are new home owners to a lovely (joke) Meritage home located in _______, FL.

We began construction back in December 2013 and closed in April 2014. We moved in this May. The reason I am sending an email to you, is because, one, I'm a very disgruntled homeowner and two, nobody else would answer my email regarding my frustrations, so all bets are on you now.

Let me first tell you that after my 30 year mortgage is finished we will have paid just under one million dollars for our home. A home, that quite frankly could of been put together better by toddlers. The workmanship is horrendous and unacceptable. Most of the things could not even be repaired unless you literally knocked walls down and started over. For example, a majority of my walls are not even "flat". They are wavy and lumpy. We went to hang a few shelves in one of the bedrooms and it was ridiculous ...gaps behind the shelf here and there and would not lay flat against the wall! Our media room, which is our theater room is another case. Our projection screen won't even lay flat against the wall it bows out because of the lumpy uneven walls. Unacceptable!  You barely bump into a wall and the plaster falls off exposing screws. We've had to putty and repaint our walls in 12 different spots so far.

One wall in the kids bathroom is completely warped and bowed in along with the baseboard in the upstairs family room. That baseboard looks like you're in a fun house. When I let the builder know about those two concerns I was told nobody is perfect and if they attempted to fix the warped baseboard it could end up looking worse. Now, as far as the warped wall in the aforementioned bathroom, well, as previously mentioned, aside from completely knocking it down how could that even be fixed?

You lay down on the floor in the upstairs family room and look at the ceiling and can see every single beam through it!  The same with my children's bedrooms!  I've lived in cheap apartments in my 20's that were better constructed and you couldn't see beams going across.  Ironically I ran into a woman at my local Gold's Gym who built a Del Rio but in the ______ area, that said she has heard from neighbors about the beam issue as well although her home doesn't show them (lucky her). Although she did mention she hates how there is little to no sound barrier between upstairs and downstairs. I agreed with her. When you're downstairs it sounds as if the people walking upstairs are about to come through the ceiling and when an upstairs toilet is flushed it sounds like someone just opened the flood gates.

I am so frustrated, disgusted, angry and down right appalled that such a "notorious" builder such as Meritage Homes could churn out such "crap" charge high dollar for it and then not even acknowledge an email about their customers disgust? I would really love to get hold of Steven Hilton your precious CEO and see if he's aware of the crappy workmanship being put into his homes here in my area and see how well that sits with him. However I cannot locate his email address info anywhere (go figure).

Our neighbors next door had their roof leak just three months after moving in! My toilet paper holder ripped off the wall just 2 days of moving in just by normal use of removing toilet paper from the roll. My vent fell out of the ceiling one day after moving in. The painters never even bothered to paint the tops of my door casings throughout my home and the first day of moving in the upstairs air conditioning wouldn't work at all! There's crappy dry wall work, and cracks in baseboards. Initially we had some of these items repaired but only after getting onto the builder. However, like I mentioned the big deal items will and can never be fixed short of bulldozing this piece of crap house down.

People like acknowledgment Mr. Anderson, that's all, and I wrote an email to warranty shortly after the initial minor repairs were done and never received a response.

Like I mentioned earlier, the initial issues like the vent falling out of the ceiling, minor paint touch ups and toilet paper holder have been fixed. Problem is more things have gone wrong, trust me I'm keeping a list for the year end warranty visit! It just shows you get what you pay for. Maybe if Meritage wasn't so cheap and actually hired good, quality contractors issues such as these would not even happen in the first place.

I am going to be forwarding you pics of just some of the "remarkable" work your contractors do and then you tell me if this should be found in a $450.000 home??? I'm not alone either, several of my neighbors in this community are to say the least, "pissed". Unfortunately, for Mr. Hilton, I'm not the type to keep quiet and just deal with living in an overpriced piece of crap, do you know why Mr. Anderson?  Because I have a forum!  I write for the Examiner and I also have a blog and intend on giving my opinion of the company you work for.

A jingle or email from Mr. Hilton would be appreciated, or hey, maybe his "people" can send me a postcard to acknowledge me in some capacity, ya think?

(left my address just in case Mr. Hilton can fit me into his busy schedule to send me some correspondence)

End Email.________________

I've included some pics of the lovely handywork you get for $450,00.00 as well:

1. Isn't lovely how the underneath of my window was finished so well?? This has more crack than a fat man leaning over with baggy pants.

2. Aaah yes, this is sweet isn't it? Apparently this is the new way of installing baseboard, yuh if you're on the crack pipe! #funhousestyle.

 3.  Niiiice, it seems I specially ordered used doors, preferably ones that included chips! Gives it that lived in looked doesn't it?

 4.  This one is adorable, I especially like how there's a huge peel mark on the vinyl and let's not forget about that huge ass gap at the bottom of the door which I must say comes in handy for all the ear wigs that love to vacation in my home..My bug company can't even keep them at bay I wonder why?

 5.  Thoughtful contractors slamming my door shut with the lock out during construction, remind me to send them a thank you card. P.S. Pointed this out to the builder during the walk through before we closed and he shrugged if off. Super!
 6.  This is super cool just painted my husband's man cave and upon doing so the plaster decided to take a shit and expose the screws in the wall, looks like I'm not the only one getting screwed eh?
 7.  Oh and here's the top portion of my back door that has an even bigger gap at the top than the bottom! BTW this is the same door that a cock roach could probably knock down.
 8.  This is how we dooo it, this is how we do it...ah yes the old 90's hip hop classic tune, you may know it....let's just use excess grout here and then forget to caulk in white at the bottom of the baseboard to match the other side of the wall. Super!
 9.  Hey if we were back in the really, really old days like prison chambers with stone walls we could pass notes under the cracks of the wall like they used to back in the day. Cool eh? Or you could really creep out the person in the next room by sliding all kinds of body parts underneath the wall.....errrr no!
 10.  This looks very pretty I especially love the beam effect across the ceiling, I mean who doesn't want to see those sexy sturdy things as they gaze up from the bottom floor?
 11.  Ah yes the other side of the wall of the downstairs guest bathroom looks like they may have tried to caulk over their shitty grout job but then decided Aaaah shit man it's lunch time gotta go! This makes my bathroom look dirty, like I never clean looooove it.

There's more shit I just get more and more pissed the more I find wrong the more I see I just want to take a serious dump in Mr. Steven J. Hilton's morning Cheerios!! Wait, he's a millionaire, I'm almost positive he eats a much better well balanced meal than Cheerios, I mean the nerve!!

Oh and hey, Mr. Hilton if you or one of your douche bag drones ever get to read or see this out in cyberspace, pick up the phone and give me a ring a ding ding, would love to talk to you! In the meantime I'm going to go vacuum and pray to God that I don't accidentally bump into the baseboard with the damn thing, I mean the whole wall could come falling down on me yikes!!! Until then Mr. Hilton, keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for everyone's wallets!! Peace out bitches!!

Get Clear Skin NOW

You don't have to be 13 and going through puberty to get zits, most women get acne in their mid 20's and continue to deal with it into their 40's and 50's.  Yup oh what fun hormones can be!  Diet is one way to help control the situation but doesn't completely clear it up.  Topicals can help as well as supplements.  The big question is what do you use and what's the right combo?

CLEANSING

1.  Wash your face with a very mild, all natural cleanser.  NO harsh cleansers containing ANY acne medication.  I prefer Derma e Hyaluronic Cleanser, it's gentle and gives moisture without oil and is all natural.

2.  Use your hands instead of a wash cloth when using the cleanser.  Scrubbing only exacerbates problem skin.  If you wear face makeup use an all natural makeup remover wipe first, prior to using the cleanser, just be as gentle as possible.  Try Blum Naturals makeup remover towelettes.

3.  Pat your face dry very gently with a towel DO NOT rub, again, gentle, gentle, gentle.

4. Apply your favorite moisturizer, an all natural product is best.  Derma e also makes a wonderful Hyaluronic day cream as well as night cream.  It's perfectly fine to use the day cream both at night and during the day as there really is no need to purchase both.

5.  Give the moisturizer about 3 minutes to fully absorb into the skin and dry.

6.  Apply AcneFree Acne & Blackhead TERMINATOR containing 5% micro-benzoyl peroxide all over your face (or just where you tend to break out) in a light mask like coating.  Allow to dry and go to bed.  When doing this routine in the morning, wait for the light coating to dry thoroughly and then apply an all natural chemical free sunscreen, then your foundation if you wear it.  You don't want to use a regular 5% or a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream, that will be way too harsh and give you horrible after math on your skin.  The lower the concentration the better it will work.  When I say "regular" 5% I mean the kind that is not micro-benzoyl.  The AcneFree brand contains an advanced micro-benzoyl peroxide that is gentle on the skin and also contains ingredients that help with redness.  Like most benzoyl creams AcneFree DOES NOT contain propylene glycol or parabens!

FOOD:

1.  Cut out dairy:  Milk and cheese.  These dairy products contain added hormones that are injected into the cows for mass production etc.  So not only is your body/liver having to filter out your own used hormones but also these extra hormones.  Butter is also a culprit.

2.  Most already eat a trans fat free diet just for health purposes in general, but if you don't care about your health and are just "vain" about your skin/face you MUST cut this crap out of your diet.  Also stay away from canola oil, it's a manufactured oil made from rape seeds that Canada first founded and started pushing this crap in the USA.  Hence where the name came from CAN OLA .....CAN ADA.  Google Canola oil and you won't want it near you.  Bugs don't even want it near them, in fact it acts as a pesticide, just spray it on your plants and bugs will stay far away!

3.  Try to eat a more alkaline diet and cut down on your acidic foods, this includes coffee YES coffee.  You don't have to exclude it but cut down on it and add more alkaline foods to counter act the acidic.  You can google alkaline and acidic foods where you will find charts that you can print out and hang on your fridge.

4.  Incorporate more healthy fats such as:  Organic coconut oil, avocado, almonds and fish oil.  Your fish oil can be taken in pill form as well (see supplements)

5.  Stay away from sodium nitrates which is a known skin irritant.  This would wipe your fridge clean of any processed meats like lunch meat, bacon, pepperoni and so on.

6.  Incorporate more fresh veggies into your diet.  You can also eat fruit but eat only fruit with low sugar content.  Berries are your best bet as well as grapefruit.  Lemons are good, even though they are initially acidic they turn alkaline in the body.

7.  Wheat can have an effect on the skin.  Most allergens such as soy and wheat are generally crap for the skin as well.  There are plenty of alternatives to replace your nasty white or wheat bread.  Such as tapioca bread, millet bread, or brown rice bread.

SUPPLEMENTS

1.  Include the following supplements into your regimen:  Borage oil (great for balancing hormones and alleviates PMS as well) Omega 3's (Fish Oil)  I like Nordic Naturals it's the purest form of fish oil, Zinc, and Vitamin C.

Look, I know you've searched the internet and found a bunch of bullshit or some selfish ass trying to get you to purchase his "how to" about how to clear your face, and to be honest it gets annoying but I promise if you follow this you WILL see results.

Black Friday shoppers are diluted....with coffee

What are these crazy people thinking?  Getting up at 2am to be at the store in line by 4am or never even going to sleep in the first place and just staying up all night into Black Friday.  I mean seriously, what are these people?  High?

Personally, I'd rather pay the extra 20, 40, 100 dollars more to not have to deal with a herd of cattle in their pajamas and slippers pushing and shoving me around over a fucking barbie doll or HD Tv.  I'd rather sit home in my pajamas or hell, in the nude, if I want and order everything I want to get online.  That's why we have online shopping, people!!  Helloooooo?

I wonder how many of these Black Friday idiots will be getting pulled over on the streets caught DWC'ing it.  aka:  driving while caffeinated?  I mean can you imagine the state of mind these people are in?  Picture it, shaky hands, talking out of control faster than you can understand them and their eyes bulging out of their skulls?  Wooooow if you want part of that than by all means go for it!  The only way you'd get me up out of bed that early to any sale at all is if they were giving away Ryan Reynolds center court at the mall to the first person in line.  Now THAT I'd be involved in and prooooooobably would show up nude for.

Happy Black Friday psycho's!!!

If you're not "happy" does that mean you're "unhappy"?

Sometimes I get into these weird theories in my head (call me bored sometimes) and begin to ponder odd shit, like this one. If you're not "happy" does that mean you're "unhappy"? After much thought I decided that no absolutely not. I mean is the opposite of happy really unhappy?  You'd be close minded to think that yes it is.  In reality, if you think about it, if you're not "happy" you could be one of many things:  complacent, going with the flow, riding it out, not putting thought into anything at all and be on auto pilot etc.  Do one of these describe you?

It may describe an array of people especially those that are in relationships with somebody. Just because you're not happy in your relationship does it mean you're unhappy?  I'm gonna say no.  Again you may just be complacent in the relationship and just do what you do everyday and realize it is what it is and go on with your life.  If you peel the onion (so to speak) even further, you will see that we are responsible for our own happiness in the first place.  However, so many people rely on their spouses to "make them happy" when really it's not their responsibility at all!  If you're unhappy, or complacent or just going with the flow, you are the ONLY one to change that situation nobody else can.  I believe when one realizes this they will become a better person and perhaps have a more eventful life or at least have one that's a tad bit more interesting than it was before they started taking responsibility for their own shit.  I mean why in the hell would you want to place that much trust in anybody anyways?  If you are relying on someone else to make you happy that takes a ton of trust and faith in another human being don't you think?  What if they don't come through?  What if they fail?  The answer is they will always fail and you will always have the same life with that person .........period.  It always amazes me how people are willing to put that much faith and trust in human beings and not acknowledge God or if they do, not trust him to help you out.  Regardless of your faith, whether you're just a "spiritual" person and rely on your strength from the universe or some potted plant on your window sill, the fact remains the same.  We are all responsible for ourselves in this life, whether it be with our happiness or not.  If you like living in a world that offers nothing but complacency or going with the flow, than good for you but do realize that it doesn't mean you're "unhappy" your just "being" and really what's wrong with that?  Probably not a damn thing.

How To Rid Yourself of Acne Naturally

I stumbled across this video from Dr. Mercola and found it valuable for those who suffer from acne.  I have read many articles and researched the causes of acne over the years and this, by far is the best information you can get all in one place without having to read hundreds of articles, etc.

Watch here.

Here's to great healthy glowing skin!

Juicing recipes for carb types

My mother inlaw gave me a juicer like 4 years ago and I never used it until recently, actually it's because I forgot I even had it and with my organizational skills in the kitchen I was lucky to find it again!  I've been hooked on Dr. Mercola lately and recently took his free nutritional type test.  It's pretty cool and it was there I found I was a carb type.  There are others too, protein type and mixed type (both protein and carb).  I love my veggies and don't really eat meat that much and totally stay away from red meat in general.  Anyhow, juicing is important for we carb types, unfortunately I'm sad that spinach is not on my list of veggies I should be eating :( however I really dig kale and it has taken spinach's place.

Here's the deal, prior to eating any of your meals you should drink at least 6 oz of veggie juice.  So I looked on my chart at all the veggies I could eat as well as some fruit and had a blast in the kitchen making some yummy juice recipes of my own.  Here are some that I juiced up for you!

Use all organic veggies if you can.

1 handful of cilantro
3 handfuls of kale
4 baby carrots
1/2 of a lemon keeping some of the white part on it.
1 kiwi
1/2 cucumber

throw all the above in your juicer and drink down a 6 oz cup of deliciousness

1 handful of cilantro
3 sliced pieces of fennel
1/2 cucumber with skin
1/2 of lime
3 handfuls of kale
2 baby carrots
8 cubes of cantaloupe

1 handful of cilantro
1/2 cucumber with skin
3 handfuls of kale
5 baby carrots
1/4 of an apple with skin
1/2 lemon leaving some of the white from the rind

Remember whenever using cabbage, bok choy, romaine or kale use lemon or lime to counter act the bitter taste it works wonders!!

Well I'll be adding more soon I'm sure as I experiment more.  There's an abundance of things to toss in there like ginger, mint leaves, pineapple, grapes etc.  Just remember to keep your fruit additions to a minimum as they contain high levels of fructose (natural of course, but still sugar).  I only add a few to make it more palatable.

For more information on learning how to become more healthy and energetic watch this (if you have any problems finding where to take the test watch this) and take Dr. Mercola's free test and then you can download for free his recipe book for each nutritional type as well as a 27 page info pack with more info about nutritional types and your specific nutritional type chart.  Since I have been eating for my right nutritional type I have had no bloating, gas and feel great.  The more nutritionally dense foods you eat you will find the less you even eat.  I stay full forever on this and feel light and energized! This is all free, you just subscribe to his newsletter, which you will want to anyways because they are amazing and jam packed with all kinds of interesting info, he also updates you on daily nutritional/health news.

Please Help out A Soldier About to Lose His Home

Won't you take a moment and go here to sign a petition to help a soldier from Oregon from losing his home.  He will be coming home for a short leave in a few weeks. so let's help him have a home to come to.  Also while visiting change.org sign the petition for Caylee's Law, making it a federal crime if you do not report your child missing within a certain time frame.  God Bless all of you for helping these two causes!  It just takes your signature and two minutes of your time!

Why McDonald's Chicken Nuggets are Dangerous!

I've been a health nut for the last 7 years but even before that I always knew there was something up with Mickey D's nuggets, first off, they don't even look like real chicken or at best "parts" of chicken.  I just received an article via email from Dr. Mercola's website (which is verrry informative, I highly suggest you subscribe, it's free) and it made all my nightmares about the chicken nugget come true!

Read the article here   After reading it please please don't eat this crap nor feed it to your children!!!!  Actually you should not of been feeding it to them to begin with, however I hope this article opens your eyes a bit.  Oh, and by the way, keep reading further down the page and find out about what's in their buns too!

Super Antioxidant Soup

Smoothies are great for a nice antioxidant breakfast but what about for lunch or dinner?  How about a super antioxidant soup?  This soup can be eaten as a main course or appetizer, it's filling, delicious, loaded with antioxidants, fiber and cleanses the blood.  What?  Delicious AND good for you?  Whoa dude I sound like an audience on one of those annoying infomercials eh?

Let me break down why the ingredients are soopa doopa awesome:

Green Tea:  Need I say more?  We all know how extremely good this tea is for you when it comes to antioxidants.  You may substitute the green tea for white tea if you wish, which is even better for you just make sure it's decaf.

Kale:  Is considered to be the most nutritious vegetable in the world with extremely powerful antioxidant properties.  Kale is very high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, lutein, zeaxanthin and rich in clacium., it's also an anti-inflammatory.  Inflammation in the body is the main cause for all diseases, remember that!

Ginger:  Ginger not only aids in digestion, but it is a useful natural blood cleanser as well.  It can improve your circulation and it causes your body to sweat (delicious), eliminating toxins in the process.

Cannellini Beans:  Beans are always good for protein and fiber and are also very filling.  Fiber is very important in expelling excess estrogens in the body, great for women with fibroids, breast cancer or endometriosis.  Specifically cannellini beans help reduce cholestrol, help with headaches are low in fat AND give you energy!

So now that you know what's up with my ingredients, this is what Mama Mia (that's what I call myself in the kitchen, hey, leave me alone little things amuse me) has thrown together to make you healthy!

2 Bunches of Kale (washed) organic if you can
16 oz of Brewed green tea (naturally decaffeinated, follow instructions on the box how to make)
1/2" piece of ginger root sliced in super thin pieces (use a mandolin for best results)
32 oz. of Organic chicken stock (Swanson's brand comes in a 32oz. box container)
1 can of Cannellini  beans drained and rinsed.
Garlic powder, Sea salt and pepper to taste.

After you rinse the kale remove the leaves from the "center vein" and chop them into small pieces.
Place the leaves into a large pot.
Pour the green tea in and then the chicken stock.
Toss in the beans
Add the ginger and the seasonings, bring to a boil and then turn down burner between low and medium (closer to low) for 20 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!  Yum!!  This soup will have a slightly spicy taste to it do to the ginger and is great if you have a cold or are feeling under the weather.

Best of all this is soooo super cheap to make.  Just 98 cents per bunch of kale!!  I know, I know genius right?

Could Your Acne Be Just a Hormone Imbalance?

If you find yourself breaking out just before and during your menstrual cycle then it's definitely hormonal related.  Most women are estrogen dominant and if you're one of the ones that suffer from endometriosis then you definitely have an over flow of estrogen flowing through your body.  This can cause adverse effects on the body from uterine to breast cancer, acne, bad PMS, fibroids, dry eyes, foggy thinking and much more.  Using an all natural progesterone cream can help enormously.  It's not just for menopausal women like most think.  Progesterone levels get lower and lower with age mostly starting after 35, however some can even have low progesterone in their 20's.

Using a progesterone cream can be applied on the chest, under arms, stomach or inner thighs and also vaginally. Some researches have said that it's better to apply it vaginally.  Once your hormones are balanced you'll feel better and look better and your acne flare ups will be nonexistent. You can also use the cream straight on the face where your problem break out area is.  There are many on the market, however you'll want to get one that does not contain dioxane (cancer causing) or parabens.  Synergeine progesterone cream seems to be a popular brand at my health food store but I'm sure there are others that are comparable.  Some also include herbs in their creams.

What an exciting find to finally rid yourself of those annoying hormonal breakouts.  Of course incorporating a healthy diet free of xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens will help immensely with your acne problems and PMS.  Xenoestrogens are found in certain fuels, plastics, pesticides and drugs such as:  All artificial scents, perfume,  air fresheners, styrofoam cups/containers, commercially raised meats, canned foods and yikes even cosmetics!!!  Phytoestrogens are naturally occurring estrogenic compounds found in foods, herbs and spices.  Some phytoestrogens would be soy, soybeans, soy milk, tofu, miso etc.  Kind of makes you wonder why the industry/docs push soy products and supplements on women with female issues it's the worst! Stay away from anything soy if you have female issues or even if you don't, because it can cause problems, especially anything cancerous you may have going on. I highly recommend you research out other foods that mess with your estrogen, like lima beans, black eyed peas, wheat, apples, eggs, milk, basically dairy in general.  Ever wonder why when you consume milk or cheese you get wicked breakouts especially around that time of month?  Because you've got additional hormones the farmers jack up the cows with floating around in your body along with your own heightened hormone levels which equals to pizza face!  Eat brussel sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, mustard greens, pinto beans etc.  fiber helps to get that extra estrogen out of your system.  Also strengthening your liver will help because it filters out all the toxins in your body as well as the used hormones.  Think about a liver detox and taking Milk Thistle.

The dosage of progesterone cream should be followed by the directions and taking chaste tree (vitex) along with it wouldn't be a bad idea too.  Here's to clear skin and of course less bitchy bouts of PMS!

Dani-isms For Today

1.  Walmart really has become the one stop shop, you can get a haircut, manicure, rent a car, buy a house, take out a loan, plan a vacation, try on the latest fashion, go grocery shopping, buy furniture, electronics and get a papsmear (seriously my Walmart has a clinic) all under the same roof!  The only thing that's missing is renting a room for the night........hmmm maybe I'm onto something here.

2. Is it really necessary for celebrities that go on these late night talk shows to inevitably take a sip of whatever's in that huge ass coffee mug sitting on the table next to them?  Is it coffee?  Is it water?  Perhaps vodka? Well maybe if you're a guest on Chelsea Lately but really is it a prerequisite to be a guest on the show, I mean do they sign a contract saying thou must partake in the sipping of the giant coffee mug???

3.  Why do my children only seem to act out in public, do they want to see mommy go to jail?

4.  Why is it that nobody wants to talk to me in my house until I get on the phone and then everybody wants a piece of the mommy?  Where's my superman shirt?  Babe, where's my lighter?  Momma have you seen my race car?

5.  Why am I the only one that has ever gotten pissed on, pooped on, puked on and drooled on by my children?  Am I just a magnet for disgusting liquids such as these?  Where is your father?

6.  How come my mother inlaw always returns my one year old with poop in his pants and a pound of pee?

7.  Why am I the only one in the house that seems to know how to change the toilet paper roll?

8.  Why is it that I've lived in the same house for the last three years and still always miss my turn into my subdivision?

9.  Whoever invented the Ped Egg needs to be shot...........twice.

10. Why is it that no matter what, I always end up picking the shopping cart with the messed up wheels ?

Spaghetti Tacos Recipe

Ok so I must admit I watch iCarly on Nickelodeon, hey who doesn't when you have small children at home?  What? You don't?  Well who asked you eh?!

Well there was an episode on there where Carly's brother had made spaghetti tacos and they looked good so I said what the hell and mixed up my own.

Just make your basic spaghetti recipe and stuff it into taco shells, however the health nut that I am I of course try to make it as healthy as possible.

Here's what you'll need (all organic if you can)

Low fat Ground beef
Organic Brown rice spaghetti
Spaghetti sauce
Fresh garlic
Diced onions
Italian seasonings such as oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder.
Taco Shells (I find that the organic one's contain disgusting oh so bad for you canola oil so actually I use the Taco Bell brand found at Walmart, surprisingly the healthiest of the worst lol)  Side note: Corn and corn based products aren't the best for you either because they contain mycotoxins.

Follow directions on your pasta package and fry up your ground beef and add a bit of olive oil, toss in onions, garlic and seasonings cook over medium and when meat is cooked simmer it, while you warm up your sauce in a separate pan.  In the meantime warm your taco shells in the oven on 300 for about 2-3 minutes.

Stuff each shell with the spaghetti then spoon your meat mixture over top of noodles and then spoon your spaghetti sauce over top.  Viola!  Spaghetti tacos deeeelicious!

For a slightly different spin add cut up banana peppers and sprinkle those on top OR instead of using spaghetti sauce use taco sauce or a salsa, green or red.  If you choose to use shredded cheese feel free, I personally don't do dairy (it's disgusting and unhealthy for you)  you could choose a brown rice based shredded cheese for a healthier alternative.

Sorry about the pic below it was saved as right side up but when I inserted it into this blog it went sideways WTF?  Oh well you can just cock your head to the right and make out what it is!  Ha.............Enjoy your spaghetti tacos!
